COO Family #3 - 3 Line Hong Kong Slanted - AKA COO#3

Click here for a larger image

Here is a single image of what we are calling COO#3. It is part of Family #3.
Its key identifying point is that it has a 2 Line, Slanted, Made In Hong Kong COO Stamp.

Finding a Crew or Turtle Neck in this family shouldn't be too hard within a few minutes of searching online listings or For Sale threads.

HERE IS A QUICK HINT TO SPOT THIS FAMILY EASILY:

If you look at her left hand, her thumb is more open, further a part from the hand, than that of Family 2.
Here you can see the difference of the hands to help you spot this COO Family in the wild whether inside bubble or in a For Sale listing.

From left to right (explanations below - click to jump to a specific variant):

3A: CREW NECK

INFORMATION:
Just like the other families, this figure was available in a Crew Neck version originally.
This figure is somewhat common and can be found on Kenner and Palitoy cards early on.
Compared to the Crew Neck of Family #2, she too is rather uninteresting to look at compared to the other figures available.

RARITY:
This figure is pretty easy to find loose or carded.

CARDED EXAMPLES:
This fgure could be found carded on:
US Kenner ESB 31B and 32B cards.
Palitoy 30B cards.
Please see the 'Packaging' section for more information and possible sightings.

CONFIRMED ACCESSORY VERSIONS:
Confirmed Blasters: V1 Blue, V3 Blue & V4 Blue
Confirmed Capes: V1

3B: TURTLE NECK

INFORMATION:
This figure is pretty common in later cardbacks.
This figure is the one figure that I cannot visually tell inside a bubble since as you will see when this mold becomes altered to remove the Hong Kong stamp, nothing else changes on the figure and is identical in most every way.
The only way for sure to determin which figure is inside a bubble would be to open it which is not going to happen.
Logic dictates that this COO (COO#3) would be on earlier card backs and her altered sister, COO#6, would be on later and probably foreign released cards.
For now, when either of these two COOs appear inside a bubble, you just cannot be sure which one it was.

RARITY:
This fgure is not too difficult to track down loose but near impossible to figure out when carded.

CARDED EXAMPLES:
Since it is impossible for me to differeenciate between COO#3 and COO#6, I will list the sightings where either variation of this figure is confirmed.
US Kenner ESB 47A, 48D & 77A backs.
Parker/General Mills ESB 45 back.
Palitoy 70C Tri-Logos
Please see the 'Packaging' section for more information and possible sightings.

CONFIRMED ACCESSORY VERSIONS:
Confirmed Blasters: V1 Blue (Kenner/Palitoy) & V3 Black/Blue (Kenner & Parker/General Mills)
Confirmed Capes: V1

3C: Pale Face

INFORMATION:
I have yet to spot this figure carded anywhere so her origin is a bit of a mystery. Her face is much paler than the other turtle neck and seems to have lighter eyes and a different hair paint mask that adds in her side burns.

RARITY:
Compared to the other figures in this family, she is uncommon to rare.

CARDED EXAMPLES:
I have yet to spot this figure on a card at this time.
Please see the 'Packaging' section for more information and possible sightings.

CONFIRMED ACCESSORY VERSIONS:
Confirmed Blasters: unconfirmed
Confirmed Capes: unconfirmed
