Family #1 Altered - 4 Line Raised Bar China - AKA COO#4

Click here for a larger image

Here is a single image of what we are calling COO#4. It is part of Family #1.
Its key identifying point is that it has a 4 Line, Raised Bar, China COO Stamp.
This COO was only available in Turtle Necks.

This is one of the more interesting COOs for Leia Bespin. Although this was the first and only alteration of Family 1's COO#1, it has two very distinct versions.
The first figure we will see is a Kenner figure that was very common near the latter stages of carded releases around the world.
The second figure is a very popular and highly sought out figure which was made by Lili Ledy.

From left to right (explanations below - click to jump to a specific variant):

4A: Kenner Turtle Neck

INFORMATION:
This figure is another figure I like. Out of all the Turtle Neck, her face is one of the better sculpts out there.
I sometimes refer to her face as the "chubby" face since it looks a bit wider than others. This effect is also helped by the lack of paint on her hair line behind her ears. This lack of paint is typical and so far seems the only paint scheme to be found. I am sure some factory errors are out there but all in all this figure usually looks the same.
Another trait I see in some of the China produced figures (outside Leia Bespin) is the skin tone is usually a very pleasing, pink color which also helps to quickly spot this figure.
All in all, this is a great figure to have in your collection.

RARITY:
She is very easy to find carded, but loose examples seem a little more scarce. Perhaps that is due to collectors holding on to them for their runs or perhaps the get purchased quickly and don't linger around long to be spotted.

CARDED EXAMPLES:
This figure could be found carded on:
US Kenner ROTJ 65B & 77A (HG Facotry Code) cards.
Parker/General Mills Tri-Logos.
Please see the 'Packaging' section for more information and possible sightings.

CONFIRMED ACCESSORY VERSIONS:
Confirmed Blasters: VX? Black/Blue (Parker/ General Mills Tri-Logo)
Confirmed Capes: V2A & V3*

* The V3 cape was confirmed on the 65B back.
I find this very odd that the same factory had both V2 & V3 capes.

4B: Lili Ledy Turtle Neck

INFORMATION:
This figure shares the same COO stamp as the Kenner version, but as you can see, the head sculpt appears to be very different or simply the plastic is different and the lack of (missing) eyebrows and slightly different paint application to the head makes it appear to be different.
I am very torn on this point.
As will most things Lili Ledy, where, how and when they received the molds for their own use is a bit of a mystery.

RARITY:
As with most Lili Ledy figures, she is rare and somewhat hard to find.
Always remember that a Raised Bard China COO being sold does NOT make it this Lili Ledy version!
Always try to buy from trusted sources as with all things Lili Ledy.

MISC EXAMPLES:
Here is my other Lili Ledy. See appears to have a different head sculpt and paint application or simply the plastic is different and the lack of (missing) eyebrows really makes it look different than the Kenner Raised Bar China COO counterpart.
Again, I am very torn on this point.

CARDED EXAMPLES:
This figure would have been found on the Lili Ledy ESB "El Regresso del Jedi" 30 Back (black figures and text on plain background)
Here is a picture of that cardback.
